Learn from the Past, Long for the Promise

Mar 19, 2023    Jamey Bryant

Why do we struggle to learn from the past? And how do we change our trajectory? As we close out the book of Hosea today, we’re going to take a look at three examples from Israel's past in chapters 12-13… 1) their forefather, Jacob; 2) the wilderness wanderings; and 3) their desire for a king. And we’ll see some valuable takeaways in each of these examples that still apply to us today…if we’re willing to learn from the past! And then we’ll take a look at a beautiful promise for the future in chapter 14 that is meant to motivate us toward change.
