What is Discipleship 360?
Discipleship 360 is our intentional process of making disciples who live a lifestyle motivated by grace to become more like Jesus. It focuses on five key areas of spiritual growth—worship, community, serving, equipping, and sharing—helping believers grow in their faith to actively reflect Christ in their daily lives.
At Faith Bible Church, we believe discipleship is not just about gaining knowledge but about transformation. By guiding people through these five areas, we help them grow into Jesus Followers who take His grace to the world.

Key Areas of Discipleship
Worship
Worship is acknowledging God for who He is and what He has done in our lives. Discipleship happens best when we engage in worship both with others and on our own, and we believe both are vital to spiritual growth.
At Faith Bible Church, we gather weekly to worship together—to celebrate, praise, and learn more about Jesus. We believe there’s power in coming together as a church family to focus our hearts on God.
We also believe personal worship is essential. We want to help people learn how to pray, how to read and understand God’s Word, and how to apply it to everyday life. Whether in a church service or in quiet moments alone, worship draws us closer to God and shapes us to become more like Jesus.

- 1 Timothy 1:17 — Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen
- Psalm 145:3 — The Lord is great and worthy of our praise; no one can understand how great he is
- Psalm 34:1: — I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
- Colossians 1:10 - so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;
- Psalm 1:2 -- But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night.
Community
At Faith Bible Church, we believe the Christian life was never meant to be lived alone. Discipleship happens best in community—where you are known, cared for, and growing spiritually. When life brings joys or hardships, you need people who will celebrate with you and stand by you in difficult seasons. True community is more than just friendship; it is built on Scripture, encouraging one another to become more like Jesus.
- Hebrews 10:24-25: "And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together"
- 1 John 4:11: "Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another"
- Galatians 6:2 - Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.
- 1 Thessalonians 2:8 - Having so fond an affection for you, we were well-pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become very dear to us.
Serve
Discipleship happens best when we learn to use our time, talents, and treasures to serve others. At Faith Bible Church, we believe God has uniquely gifted each of us, and part of growing spiritually is discovering how to use those gifts to meet the needs around us.
Serving isn’t just something we do—it’s a reflection of Jesus’ heart. As we learn to steward what God has given us for His glory and the good of others, we take important steps toward becoming more like Him.

- 1 Peter 4:10 — As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
- Galatians 5:13 — For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
- Acts 2:42- 44 - 42 — They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles. And all those who had believed were together and had all things in common.
Equip
Discipleship happens best when we are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to use our gifts and invest in others. As we grow in our faith, we’re called to help others grow too. At Faith Bible Church, we believe leadership and spiritual growth don’t happen by accident—they happen when someone takes the time to pour into you.
When we commit to learning and then turn around to equip others, we create a multiplying movement of disciples who are becoming more like Jesus.

- Ephesians 4:11-12 — And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ;
- 1 Peter 3:15 — …always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence;
- 2 Timothy 2:15 — Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.
Share
Discipleship happens best when we share the story of God’s grace in our lives with the world around us. At Faith Bible Church, we believe every believer has a story worth telling—a story of how Jesus has transformed their life.
Whether it's at school, at work, or with a neighbor, we want to help people grow in confidence to share their faith in everyday conversations. As we share our stories—here in The Woodlands and around the world— We demonstrate the love of Jesus and invite others to experience His grace.
