Change in Sunday Morning Seating Arrangement

Church Family,

We hope this email finds you in the middle of a great week! Can you believe it’s already February? Even though much of last year’s turmoil has spilled over into 2021, we pray, dear Church, that this difficult season is producing in us proven character and a hope that does not disappoint as we fix our eyes on Jesus (Romans 5:3-5).

The Lord is doing great things in our midst, and we are humbled to be part of His work here at Faith Bible. Already this year, we have launched our spiritual gifts study, Your Gifts, Your Calling, Your Service, and we are seeing many experience the incredible joy of discovering their spiritual gifts and unique place of serving in our church family. We have also seen many of our groups begin to meet again on campus - notably, many of our Adult Communities on Sunday mornings.

One of the exciting things over the past month has been to see how the Lord has continued to add to our numbers during our Sunday morning gatherings - from new folks who have begun attending our church to others who have started to return after a season away. We love having the room more full than it has been in a long time during our corporate moments together, as there is a great sense of life, joy, and excitement when we all gather. You can feel the momentum, especially as we have just begun a new and highly relevant series Future Joy, Present Trial - Paul’s Letter to the Thessalonians.

Our growing Sunday morning numbers present us with a challenge - how do we continue to allow for the greatest number of people to meet, and do so safely in our worship center? Starting this Sunday, in order to accommodate as many people as possible while maintaining a safe environment, we are going to decrease the number of seats between individuals, families, and/or groups to 1-2 seats. If you need more space between you and others, please let your usher or one of the deacons know, and they will accommodate you. In order to ensure that everyone has a seat while maximizing space, we would encourage you to arrive early. This also helps our ushers as they seek to accommodate everyone coming in. In addition, we would encourage those who are able to consider attending the 9am service, as we have more space in this service.

We are continuing to ask everyone who comes to our services to wear a mask while they are inside the building, for the sake of others. This is especially important in light of the seating change. This is not always going to be the case on Sunday mornings here at Faith, but it is for now.

Thank you, church, for continuing to persevere with us through this challenging season! We are praying for you constantly, and excited for what God has in store in 2021.

Blessings,

Faith Bible Leadership
