Sundays | 9am & 11am

I'm New

Welcome to Faith Bible!

We know it’s hard being new in a family as big as ours. We know it’s also very challenging navigating a range of ministries in a large facility. So we work really hard to make the journey to real community an easy transition.

First of all, on Sunday morning, you’ll experience a very casual but lively gathering where Jesus is front and center in amazing worship and teaching, while blue jeans and flip-flops are commonplace. But Sundays are not the only day we gather. Smaller groups of diverse kinds meet every day of the week for prayer, study, fellowship, service and mission. We’ve even got amazing opportunities for kids and students of all ages. There’s a lot going on in our family, but don’t let that overwhelm you. We’ll walk with you and help you find your place. Fill out the connect form below to get started.

Community

Being a part of a church family is much more than attending a large group worship service. It’s all about deep connection and committed relationship. We want to know your story and we want you to know ours. There are opportunities to engage community for every member of your family.

FAQs

 What denomination is Faith Bible?
Faith Bible is a non-denominational church, such as we are not affiliated with any major denomination or group of churches. That said, Bible churches can have some or many things in common with other Bible churches around the country and world. We also love the fact that we regularly and joyfully collaborate with many other local churches of various denominations, choosing to pray for them regularly as partners in building the Kingdom of God in our city.

Who goes to Faith Bible?
You’ll find that our church family is beautifully diverse, an ever-increasing representation of our diverse city. We have an equal measure of blue and white collar men and women and a great number of empty nesters, singles and families. Currently we enjoy a large number of families with kids and adoptive families.

How big is the church?
That’s hard to say, actually. Let’s break it down a bit. In a typical Sunday morning worship service of mostly adults, you may be among 800 or so other folks in the worship center. That’s in either one of our two services. We have hundreds of kids in our Kidz Inc. Ministry at the same time, as well as around 150 students. All together, our church family is well over 2000 people and growing every week.

Where are you located?
Our campus sits on 13 acres in the heart of The Woodlands on Research Forest Drive just east of Shadowbend. Our home is best know for the exceptional Woodlands soccer complex with which we share a parking lot. Our address is 5505 Research Forest Drive in The Woodlands, Texas.

What will Sunday morning be like?
Sunday morning is our favorite time of the week because most of our church family gathers for worship, prayer, Bible study and the kind of life-giving engagement that family relationships thrive on. Our worship services begin at 9am and 11am. During our service a full live band leads us in worship that is true and biblical. We pray a lot and love to pray for each other. We also focus on God’s Word and enjoy hearing His voice through the Scriptures taught and applied. There is also an opportunity at both 9am and 11am for adults to explore various Sunday classes of a smaller size with a wide range of topics and audiences. Of course there is incredible programming for kids and students of all ages, and in every class your child will have a blast and an opportunity to engage the Scriptures.

How much will I be "harassed" when I show up as a first-time visitor?
We know this is a big concern so let’s be clear. No harassment. At. All. No forced identification or singling you out. But we do want every guest and visitor to know where they can get information or ask a question. For that we have a clearly marked Guest Services area just outside of the worship center. There will be lots of friendly faces greeting you in the parking lot, at each door and there at Guest Services. But if you need anything, Guest Services is where to go. To be frank, you’re always surrounded by people that can and will help you however you need. Just ask. If you want to be anonymous and quiet for a little while, that’s okay too. But we really hope you don’t stay hidden for too long.

What should I wear on Sunday?
Sunday mornings are very casual. Our Lead Pastor loves blue jeans and button-up shirts. Yet folks who want to wear a suit would not be out of place, and, believe it or not, neither would the guy in shorts and flip-flops. We just come as we are comfortable without making too big of a deal about it.

What kind of music will be played during worship?
A full band - piano, drums, bass guitar, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, occasional strings - leads us in worship every Sunday. The songs we sing are diverse in style and age but typically we gravitate towards recent songs that are thoroughly Biblical, often singing the very words of Scripture.

What is a typical sermon like?
We will read, study and pray through words of the Bible every Sunday. Expect to study at least one text of God’s Word in an engaging and practical way. But also expect creative illustrations, art, history and the kind of background that brings the ancient words of both the Old and New Testament to life.

Where do I check my kids in?

We have an easy check-in process in multiple locations. The nursery and Kidz Ministry entrance is on the southeast corner of our campus building, closes to the soccer fields. The check-in process is done on an i-Pad or computer and there are plenty of helpful people to assist you. You’ll get a two sticky labels for each of your children, one for them and one for you. When you pick them back up, our Kidz Ministry workers meticulously check and confirm those labels. Safety is our highest priority when you trust us with your kids.

Where does my teenager go?
Seventh graders through seniors in high school gather at 11am on the northwest corner of our campus in a large room called Northside. There is a simple check-in process on multiple computers there but no check-in labels or tags. Northside has a cafe, game room and a large group meeting area for worship. Regularly, junior high students will peel off after worship and gather in the Warehouse, a smaller large group room right next door to Northside.

What is the theology of Faith Bible Church?
The best way to engage the theology of our church family is to view our Foundational Statement of Faith and the Expanded Statement of Faith.

What is the history of Faith Bible?
Faith Bible was planted by Conroe Bible Church in 1979 when The Woodlands was still quite young. Around eight families began meeting in a ballet studio on the east side of Interstate 45. In fact there are several of those original families still in our church today. By the grace of God, our family saw incredible growth and missional impact from the first days. To gather as a much larger family we moved to another location, then a second, then ultimately landed on the current property we enjoy today. Our church family help start The Woodlands Christian Academy (a local christian private school), Grace School of Theology (a local seminary) and Creekside Bible Church (a local church on the east side of The Woodlands). We are deeply engaged in various local missions and have done long-term strategic mission work around the world.
