Words of Hope From Justin

Dear Church,

If we haven't already met, my name is Justin Hoover and I'm the Student Pastor at Faith. My wife Lisa and I have been married for three and a half years and have a seven-month-old at home. Today, I want to speak a word of hope to you, especially those who have young kids at home and, if you are like us, you and your spouse are both working full-time jobs from home.

In John 16:33 Jesus said, “These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”

Today, this season, this moment in history, feels like one big tribulation for a lot of us. We are going to look back at this time in history. When our kids and grandkids read about 2020 and COVID-19, we will tell them stories about the good and the bad. We will look at future friends and say, ‘remember 2020, remember coronavirus’?

Jesus says, "take courage," or other versions say, "take heart," Jesus overcame the world. I hope these words of hope in the short video above encourage you during this difficult time.
