From Our Treasurer

We recently concluded a very memorable fiscal year that ended March 31, 2025.  I once read in a devotional that, “Waiting on God doesn’t mean sitting around hoping.  Waiting means believing He will do what He’s promised and then acting with confidence”.  My experience on the Finance Committee over the years has been that as we have remained true to our Mission, we have confidently waited for and watched while God has graciously provided for FBC through its faithful members.

The memorable provision this past fiscal year has been the resources to retire the building loan used to construct our Worship Center.  The fiscal year began with a loan balance of over $975,000 and ended at zero on March 31.  The amount of principal budgeted was $232,000; the remainder was paid with generous gifts from over 300 donors.

As we move forward, being debt free will enable us to direct more financial resources to Missions, both international and local, and to our various ministries, which are having an impact and are changing lives.  Additionally, we’ve begun to set aside savings for future capital projects such as roof replacement on Northside in the future.

You and I live between the “already” and “not yet”.  God has “already” set His plan of grace in motion.  By faith, one is “already” saved by grace, is justified, and has a permanent relationship with and position in Christ.  Believers are “already” adopted, redeemed, and sealed.  But God’s work in our hearts is “not yet” done.  He has “not yet” totally transformed our lives, and His grace has “not yet” finished its work.  We are in the middle of a process called Sanctification.

Our Mission is to build generations of Jesus followers who take grace to the world.  Building implies such things as teaching, challenging, nurturing, and discipling – all for the purpose of aiding our sanctification process.  Our various ministries offer opportunity for growth in knowledge of God’s Word, along with relationship and fellowship within the church. Pastoral Care and Shepherding are offered in tandem with our Recovery & Support ministries that are geared to help with the challenges life brings between the “already” and “not yet”.

As you can see in the financial section of this report, and accompanying CPA’s Audit Report, because of your generosity our financial condition is solid.  Your gifts support and enable us to offer the many ministries we have at Faith Bible Church, and for that we are extremely grateful.

Missions

From Our Missions Pastor

Last August we kicked off the fall semester by refocusing the church on the mission that we believe Jesus has called us to. This is a statement that you hear a lot around Faith Bible Church and it drives the vision of everything we do.

We build generations of Jesus followers who take grace to our world.

I love this statement because it summarizes what Jesus calls us to do. Since August we have seen God work through so many different avenues here at our church. We have seen people saved, we have lots of new people serving, lots of new people engaged in community, a tremendous growth in new members, growth in our worship services, and so much more. Our church has rallied together around the mission that God has called us to and we’re seeing the fruits of what happens when the people of God come together. Thank you for all that you have done and the part you have played the past year.

I believe this next season is going to be even greater and believe we will experience growth like we have never seen before. To accomplish this, we need everyone joining together and using their unique gifts and abilities. What will your next step be in helping us accomplish the mission? Whether that be teaching in kids ministry, taking a mission trip, leading a small group, or giving financially, we are asking everyone to jump into this mission in a way they never have before.

It’s going to be a great year, and I’m excited to see what God does through Faith Bible Church in the coming year.
