About our team

Adrienne joined our staff in January 2022. Adrienne works in finance and assists with financial reporting, the audit, and other fun accounting/finance things. Adrienne has been married to her husband Chris for sixteen years and they share a spirited and precocious daughter, Lucy and sweet rescue dog, Annie. Adrienne enjoys board games, walks with her family, and laughing at her husbands jokes.

Alisha joined our staff in 2018 after many years working at SonKids Christian Preschool and Kindergarten. Alisha loves ministering to women at Faith Bible in a variety of ways through her role as Director of Women's Discipleship. Alisha earned a B.S. in civil engineering from Texas A&M University and masters degrees in Marriage and Family Counseling and in Christian Education from Southwestern Seminary. Alisha and her husband, Jason, have three amazing kids who enjoy traveling together, doing escape rooms, and having family game nights.

Andy joined the Faith Bible staff in 2023 as the Tech Director. He is responsible for training up staff and volunteers to utilize the tech gear for ministry. He has a heart for volunteer engagement in the Church. Andy and his wife Lindsay have been married for 25 years and have three delightful daughters, two crazy cats, and one lovable dog. They are a game playing, national park hiking, road tripping family and have visited all of the lower 48 states. Andy loves God, people, and coffee. Fun fact, he has a 20lb coffee roaster in the garage.

Caleb joined our staff in 2014. Caleb leads worship and oversees connections for Faith Students. His favorite part about his job is building relationships with students. Caleb met his wife Lydia, Faith Bible's Communication Director, in 2017 and got married in 2020. Caleb enjoys date nights with his wife, fashion: including clothes and hype shoes, and sports such as basketball and pickleball. Fun fact, Caleb can make his own bar soap!

Candy became part of the Faith Staff in February of 2020. She serves as our Children's Pastor and oversees all Faith Kids ministries. Candy's favorite part about her job is watching kids develop into leaders who follow Jesus. Her husband John is a pilot for Exxon Mobil and they have three grown kids: Racey - a pilot for Mesa Airlines, Rylie - a Resource Teacher in Arlington ISD and Ridge - a pilot for Sky West. Candy loves to read, write, travel, and spend time with family and friends. If a day includes Mexican food and chocolate...it's a good day.

Chad Melton serves as one of our Lead Pastors and oversees the discipleship ministries at Faith Bile Church. Chad gets to work hand in hand with the ministry leaders in helping create a cohesive discipleship strategy across all ministries. Chad and Jodee have been married since 2006 and have 3 kids - Lillee, Lincoln, and Lyndee…also two dogs Levi and Leo. Chad enjoys watching sports (especially the Cowboys and Longhorns) and spending time with his family.

Chloe joined the Faith Bible staff in 2023. Chloe is in charge of kids small groups and oversees the kids curriculum. Her favorite part of her job is getting to hangout with all the sweet kids, tell them about Jesus, and build friendships with our awesome volunteers! Chloe met her husband Alex while they were both working at Chick-Fil-A, and had a elegantly themed Chick-Fil-A wedding in December of 2022. Alex and Chloe are proud parents of their fish named Moo Moo. Chloe enjoys spending time with family, playing board games, and going for walks when it's not hot outside.

Cindy joined the Faith Bible staff in September 2013. She oversees the Nursery on Sunday mornings and weekday childcare. She enjoys loving on the babies and watching the children grow in their faith. Cindy has been married for over 20 years and has 3 kids. Cindy enjoys spending time with her family by watching movies and being with her family.

Claire joined the Faith Bible staff in 2019. Claire manages the church database and works with staff and ministry leaders to use the database resources as effectively as possible. Born and raised in Texas, Claire and her husband moved to Oregon in 2006 but moved back to Texas and The Woodlands in 2016, along with their two kids--Benjamin and Madeleine--and their dog, Scout. Fun fact: Claire has her M.F.A. in Creative Writing.

Dr. Dustin Ellis is the Recovery and Support Pastor at Faith Bible Church, where he helps individuals and families overcome a variety of personal and spiritual challenges. Dr. Ellis is known for his compassionate approach to counseling, and his ability to create a safe and supportive environment for his clients. He is committed to staying up-to-date with evidence based practices and biblically based counseling, and his expertise has earned him a reputation as a trusted advisor and mentor to many aspiring counselors. Dr. Ellis is a true champion for mental health and spiritual well-being, and his work has touched the lives of many in his community.

Dezi became a member of the Faith Bible staff in July of 2023. She plays a role in the administrative team, assisting pastors and other ministries. Dezi has been married to Chad Henneck for 10 years, they have 2 children, a son named Cade and a daughter named Lyla. Although she was born in Colorado, Dezi was raised in the Baytown area. Fun facts, her full name is Dezi-Rey, her favorite animals are a sloth and a panda, she has a passion for cooking, hosting gatherings, kickboxing, and sharing intriguing "did you know" random facts.

Emily joined our staff in 2018. She is part of the administrative team and assists several pastors and ministries. Her favorite part of her job is helping others accomplish their goals. She has been married to her husband Greg Amos for 25 years. They have 2 daughters, Lily and Rory and one son-in-law Steven, who is married to Lily. Emily's favorite place to be is on a beach. Fun fact, she grew up in McAllen Texas which is a few miles from the border of Reynosa, Mexico and South Padre Island.

Eric oversees Guy's Discipleship in the Student Ministry and has been on staff with Faith Bible Church since February 2020. Eric met his wife, Katelin, while they were both in college at the University of North Texas. They moved down here in 2020 from Dallas, and have two awesome labradoodles. Eric loves playing or watching sports, being outside, or reading a good book. He is always down for a conversation over a good cup of coffee.

Grace joined our staff in 2007. Grace works in the office and is part of the admin team. Her favorite part of her job serving our staff. She thinks of them like family. She and her husband Dennis have been married for 23 years and are a blended family of 5 children and 3 grandchildren. They are referred to as the "Bauer Bunch". She enjoys thifting and spending "Gigi" time with her grandchildren. Fun fact, she has worked for our church for 16 years and has been here longer than anyone else on staff.

Ingrid joined the counseling staff in 2013. She counts it as one of her greatest privileges and responsibilities to listen to the struggles of individuals and couples and point them to the healing power of Jesus and his Word and relational truths. Ingrid met her husband Jay in Chicago and they have been married for almost 40 years. They have three wonderful adult married children, and four beautiful grand children. Ingrid and Jay love traveling, spending time with family and friends, and playing pranks.

Jesse joined Faith Bible in 2021 and oversees Missions and Benevolence. What he loves about his job is being a part of reaching the nations and our local community with the gospel. Before working at Faith Bible, Jesse served with Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU). Fourteen of those years were overseas, four years in Germany and ten years in Italy. Jesse and Tricia have three children and six grandchildren.

Jason McMinn joined the Faith Bible staff in 2018. Jason is the Video Production Director; he is responsible for all of the video content shown by the church. The thing he loves most about his job is helping people in the church share their stories because they are all unique and impactful in different ways. Jason is married to Robyn McMinn, and they have a two girls, Lily (5), and June (2). Robyn and Jason met when she was working at a church and Jason was a volunteer. Jason loves nothing more than spending time with his family and, recently, watching his kids play with their new puppy Peaches. Jason enjoys playing golf and is a big fan of comedy. One of Jason and Robyn's favorite date nights is going out to see live comedy. Fun fact, Jason has been playing drums since the age of 12.

Kandi moved to the Houston area in 2018 and joined the Faith Bible staff in 2021. She currently serves as the PreK and Kinder Director, coordinates volunteers that serve in Faith Kids, and works on special events. Kandi is originally from the Midwest and still cheers for her Green Bay Packers. She is a mom to 4 girls and loves a spontaneous dance party in the kitchen.

Kayla joined our staff in April 2023. Kayla assists in the preparation and implementation of our Faith Kids Large Group services. She loves having fun with the kids and watching them experience God's Word every week. Kayla is married to Jordan and they have 2 daughters, Joey and Johnny. Kayla loves singing, jigsaw puzzles, and reading.

Kelly has been part of Faith Bible Church since 2012 and joined the staff in 2021. During the week, Kelly works as Director of Operations for Faith Kids which covers a multitude of responsibilities! On Sundays she is involved with the elementary programming. Kelly loves spending time with her husband and 2 busy boys. She is active in our recovery ministry on Monday nights. Kelly's favorite hobby is participating in flyball with her dogs, Spice and Daisy.

Kenzie is the graphic designer here at Faith Bible. She also volunteers with 3 & 4th graders, 11th grade girls, and our Young Adult ministry! She loves our people! Kenzie was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Pittsburg State University with a bachelors in Graphic Communications then followed in her dad's footsteps and became a graphic designer at a church! Kenzie enjoys walking the waterway or hiking the woods with friends, she is a pro dog sitter, her coffee order is a vanilla latte with oat milk, she will always say "yes" to a trip to sonic, and fish are her favorite animal.

Lance joined our staff in 2022 after 11 years in the business world and oversees operations at Faith Bible Church (Finance, Facilities, HR). Lance grew up in the Texas Panhandle and graduated from West Texas A & M University followed by seminary at the Houston Campus of Southwester Baptist Theological Seminary. He married his wife Ginger in 2010 and they have two kids. Lance enjoys reading, being at home with his family, and playing golf.

Lydia joined our staff in 2018 and currently serves as Faith Bible's Communications Director. She loves helping ministry leaders effectively communicate with our church family. In 2020, Lydia tied the knot with Caleb, our very own Faith Students Worship and Connections Director. When she's not at work, Lydia enjoys reading on her porch, going on walks with friends, or simply spending a relaxing day at home with Caleb. 

Marci joined Faith Bible Church in 2021. Marci is the Girls' Student Director and leads 7th-12th grade girls at Faith Students. Her favorite part of her job is developing relationships with students and getting to walk alongside them in the highs and lows of Junior High and High School. Marci grew up in Magnolia, TX and graduated from Texas A&M as a nutritional science major. She is newly married to Kyle as of June 2023! Marci loves getting to grab coffee with friends and going on walks. She is passionate about people knowing and walking with Jesus for a lifetime!

Melissa joined our staff in 2014 and leads our Connections Ministry. The part she loves most about her position at Faith Bible is getting to learn the stories of our people as they walk into the church and walking alongside them as they find how God uses their design to live within our walls. Melissa got married in 2022 to Jimmy and they love to explore the outdoors, hanging in their hometown Houston, and hosting friends and family at their home. Melissa loves all things puzzles, hikes in rocky landscapes, and strongly believes the best place to be is inside a museum.

Mike joined our staff in 2022 after retiring from a 30-year career in business. Mike is the Director of Men's Discipleship and leads the Faith internship program. Mike has a passion for Men's Ministry and is energized by seeing men's lives transformed through faith in Jesus. One fun fact is that Mike was led to Faith in Christ by Elvis' stepbrother while classmates in college. Mike and his wife Lori married in 1987 and have two grown children, Michael III, and Kelsey. Mike enjoys playing golf and hanging out with their granddaughters Reagan & Zoey.

I joined the staff in 2014 and serve as the Finance Director. I also have been serving in the welcome ministry since 2013. I truly love meeting people as they come into the church and helping them find their way around and get connected. I was born and raised in Fort Worth and came to this area in 2000 when Anadarko Petroleum purchased the oil & gas company where I worked. I got my undergrad degree in accounting from UTSA and I am now attending Dallas Theological Seminary in pursuit of a master of Biblical and Theological studies.

In 2015, Rhonda joined the Faith Bible staff as Bookkeeper. She is passionate about being a good steward of the church by providing detailed and accurate books, but the most favorite part of her job is seeing the hearts of others when reading the notes left in the donation boxes, especially the ones written for Jesus from children. She is happily married to Harold, and in 2021 they adopted their sweet feline fur baby, Loke. Rhonda enjoys spending time with her family, being in nature and continuously learning new things about gardening, DIY projects, home improvement and painting.

Rick joined our staff in 2021. He leads our Pastoral Care and Community ministry, which helps our church respond well to our member's needs for crisis assistance as well as the challenges of everyday life. His favorite part about his job is assisting people in finding community in our Life Groups and Small Groups. A graduate of Southwestern Seminary, Rick also earned degrees from Sam Houston State University and Houston Baptist University. Having started his professional career in law enforcement with the State of Texas, he has a particular love for our first responder community. His training includes certifications in emergency chaplain service, and he is an active-duty chaplain with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. Rick and Connie recently celebrated their forty-year marriage anniversary and they have been blessed with ten perfect grandchildren.

Russell joined our staff in the Spring of 2023. Russell leads our Teaching Team and serves as one of our Lead Pastors. He loves teaching God's word and helping it come to life for people. Russell met his wife Terri while at Hardin-Simmons University. They have been married for 23 years and have 5 great kids, Milton (18), Caleb (16), Noel (14), Kenneth (11) and Douglas (11). You will find the Johnsons moving between ball games, band concerts or an intense game of Settlers of Catan. Russell's love language is brisket and the Dallas Cowboys.

Sara joined the Faith Bible staff in 2021 and serves as the Recovery & Support Assistant Director. She works closely with the team to assist with weeknight ministries, Sunday morning ministries and Counseling admin tasks. Her favorite part of the job is helping to provide welcoming spaces for those who are hurting, in order that they might feel safe to share and open to encounter the grace of God. Sara and her husband Chase, who also serves on the re|engage leadership team, moved to the area in 2015 and immediately felt at home in the Faith Bible community. They have 3 beautiful daughters and Sara loves teaching, baking, handicrafts, and tea parties. Their family loves time in nature and you can often find them on an adventure, hiking or preparing a meal together at a campsite.
