Meet Mike Arnold

Meet Mike Arnold
My wife Lori & I moved back to Texas in 2017 after being away for thirty years. We felt God confirm His desire for us to return to Texas when we heard a sermon on The Good Samaritan entitled “move closer to the mess.”
For us, “the mess” was our large, extended family, who mostly still lived in Texas. We had often joked about maintaining a “one state minimum” distance as we raised our family over the years. However, when we returned, we were blessed to be close as several loved ones died and others continued to suffer through serious physical and mental health issues.
God has also blessed us by allowing our children to live nearby. Michael, Alli, and their daughters Reagan and Zoey live in our neighborhood and our daughter Kelsey lives in Spring and will be marrying Brett O’Guin in May. Having all of them living so close has been an incredible blessing.
Not long after returning to Texas, the business that I had been involved in sold. After a 3-year transition, I found myself wondering what God had in store for our next season of life. I knew all about major life transitions, but found myself utterly unprepared for life after thirty years of the corporate grind.
I always had a passion for Men’s Ministry. God had always arranged for godly men to be in my life since trusting in Jesus when I was 19, so I know the value of those relationships in a real personal way. I started attending men’s studies and then began serving myself. Before long, I was involved in everything to do with Men’s Ministry at Faith Bible and loving it. I was recently asked to join the staff at Faith Bible and day by day, God is revealing His plans for our future (Jeremiah 29:11).
